Bodies found in Baltimore County identified

Baltimore County police have identified the two unrelated bodies found Friday morning as 40-year-old Roxanne Stitz Arnick and 35-year-old Elvis Furman Garcia.

Police have not determined the cause of Amick?s death. She was discovered wrapped in a blanket on the side of the 9900 block of Belair Road in Perry Hall.

Garcia, who was found dead on Sulphur Spring Road, was shot once in the upper body, according to police.

A family member reported Amick missing Thursday morning after she left her Overlea home in a van Wednesday afternoon and never returned, police said. Police found the green Plymouth Voyager van Thursday off Belair Road in the Perry Hall Shopping Center parking lot.

A truck driver, who stopped on the road, called police after finding Garcia?s body behind the guard rail in low brush in the Arbutus area, police said.

Police said they believe Garcia, who lived on Shipley road in Anne Arundel County?s Hanover, may have been killed there late Thursday or early Friday.

Police said they have few leads and are asking for the public?s help.

Anyone driving along Sulphur Spring Road during that period or may have seen Amick in her van between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon is asked to call them at 866-756-2587.
