Toddler’s death among fatalities in latest Russian drone attack on Ukraine

A Russian drone strike on the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv left three people dead and 17 injured early Monday morning.

One of the fatalities was a toddler, with multiple reports suggesting the victim was either a 1-year-old or 2-year-old boy. The attack came a day after Russia fired ballistic missiles at the city on Sunday, which left a 13-year-old dead, according to reports. The drone and missile strikes came two days after Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump met in Alaska on Friday. It also occurred hours before Trump is set to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other European leaders in Washington, D.C., on Monday.
