Several Washington, D.C., officials will testify before the House Oversight Committee at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser, Council of the District of Columbia Chairman Phil Mendelson, and D.C. Attorney General Brian Schwalb will testify on public safety and crime, the current state of the district, and opportunities for continued federal assistance in the capital.
