A selfie taken of House Democrats was met with rage from their Republican colleagues as the deadline for a government shutdown approaches.
Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA) took the selfie on an iPhone, flanked by House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (D-MA), and Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) with more members behind them. A photo of Aguilar taking the photo was posted on the House Democrats X account.
