A bundler for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and friend of the Democratic nominee reached out to Clinton’s top aides in June 2009 to secure a meeting for a well-connected coal company, according to new emails released Monday.

Joyce Aboussie, who has donated up to $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation, emailed longtime Clinton confidante Huma Abedin to ask if a company for which she worked as a consultant, Peabody Energy, could have a private audience with Clinton, according to emails made public Monday.
