MIAMI (AP) — A Florida man has pleaded guilty to attempted bank robbery using a fake bomb and making bomb threats against the Publix supermarket chain in a $50 million extortion case.

After Brian Henderson pleaded guilty Thursday, a federal judge sentenced him to more than 15 years in prison. Court records show Henderson claimed in emails last year that he would detonate bombs at Publix locations unless his demands for money were met.
