Southeast Michigan in Obama manufacturing program

DETROIT (AP) — Thirteen counties in southeastern Michigan are getting a slice of a $1.3 billion Obama administration project to boost American manufacturing.

The White House said Wednesday that 12 U.S. regions will get help under a program to make them more attractive to manufacturers.
