President Trump on Thursday accused Democrats of lying about his conduct during a Wednesday meeting that imploded when Democrats refused to budge on his demand for southern border wall funding.
“I didn’t pound the table. I didn’t pound the table. That is a lie,” Trump told reporters as he departed the White House for a trip to the U.S. border with Mexico.
