‘Deeply regret the error’: CBS News apologizes after confusing John Lewis and Elijah Cummings

CBS Evening News has apologized after the network misidentified Rep. John Lewis as the late Rep. Elijah Cummings during a broadcast about Lewis’s recent cancer announcement.
