‘Glee’ returns to season low ratings

Absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder — at least where “Glee” is concerned.

After six weeks off the air, the show returned Tuesday night with 6.7 million viewers, a ten percent drop in viewership from when the show last aired in February. Tuesday’s episode featured a guest appearance from “White Collar’s” Matt Bomer and the resolution to a cliffhanger from the last episode.

Some at Fox point out that TV viewership overall has dropped 9 percent since the start of Daylight Savings Time. But no worries — “Glee” has already been picked up for another season.
