Driver, pedestrian killed in Va crash identified

DINWIDDIE, Va. (AP) — Virginia State Police have released the names of two people who were killed in a car-pedestrian accident in Dinwiddie County.

Sgt. Thomas Molnar says the accident happened early Sunday when a car struck the pedestrian and then hit a tree on eastbound U.S. Route 460.

Molnar identifies the pedestrian as 19-year-old Eric D. McKenney of Dinwiddie and the car’s driver as 25-year-old Erica M. Woodley of Prince George.

Two others in the car were injured.
