BACK IN BUSINESS: A factory in China owned by the manufacturer of Apple’s iPhones, Foxconn Technology Group, resumed production Tuesday.
WORKER UNREST: Production in the Taiyuan factory shut down after a brawl by as many as 2,000 workers, the cause of which was still under investigation. Labor activists said the rollout of the iPhone 5 has led to longer working hours and more pressure on workers.
