Austin officials OK $1.25M settlement in shooting

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — The City Council has approved a $1.25 million settlement with the three children of a man fatally shot last year during a bank robbery investigation.

The council on Thursday approved the settlement, the largest in city history, in the death of Larry Eugene Jackson Jr.
