EVINGTON, Va. (AP) — Police are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman whose partially decomposed bodies were found at a home in Bedford County.
The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office tells media outlets that a neighbor called police on Saturday after finding the woman’s body. Deputies went to the home and found the man’s body and the remains of a dog.
The bodies were sent to the medical examiner’s office in Roanoke for autopsies. Identification of the bodies hasn’t been released.
