AT LEAST 15 DEAD AND MORE THAN 60 INJURED AFTER WEEKEND OF MASS SHOOTINGS
“Our hearts are heavy today with the passing of Kris Minners, a second-grade boys’ resident advisor at Girard College and yet another victim of senseless gun violence,” AFT Pennsylvania’s statement on Sunday said. “Our thoughts are with Mr. Minners’ family who woke up this morning missing someone at their breakfast table, his colleagues who will be without a friend, and with his students who will be without a mentor and a role model.”

Police believe one of the three dead victims was involved in a “physical altercation” with another person who was “potentially the genesis of the shooting.” Police have recovered two guns that were used in the shooting and believe at least three more guns still need to be recovered, law enforcement said during a Sunday press briefing.
Law enforcement has asked the public to contact 215-686-TIPS or 215-686-3334 to report any information regarding the shooting. A $20,000 reward will be given to anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest, Philadelphia Police Department Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said.
