Front man for Yalobushwhackers and Tangents dies

RULEVILLE, Miss. (AP) — Jerry Lee “Duff” Dorrough, front man for the rhythm and blues group The Tangents and the Thacker Mountain Radio house band The Yalobushwhackers, has died. He was 60.

Dorrough died Wednesday in Ruleville, Miss., of complications from a liver transplant. Williams & Lord Funeral Home says services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Ruleville Methodist Church.
