Opening remarks start in loud music killing case

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Jurors are scheduled to hear opening statements in a Jacksonville courtroom as the retrial of a white Florida man accused of killing a black teenager during an argument over loud music outside a convenience store begins.

Proceedings in the first-degree murder trial of 47-year-old Michael Dunn are scheduled to start early Thursday afternoon.
