Dallas pastor: ‘God is not necessarily an open borders guy’

A Dallas pastor is breaking with thousands of other religious leaders, saying immigration policy should not be solely based on “Christian compassion.”

Last week, more than 3,000 pastors and evangelical leaders sent a letter to President Trump, House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, urging them to protect recipients of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.
