NBC will be holding a benefit on Friday for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. The network made the announcement on Thursday. The event will feature New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Jon Bon Jovi, and New York native Billy Joel. Jimmy Fallon, Sting and Christina Aguilera are among the other performers who will lend their skills to the benefit. Matt Lauer will host the show, which will air at 8 p.m. on NBC and its other stations including Bravo, CNBC, USA, MSNBC and E!. Other networks might join in broadcasting as well.
