Donald Trump reached out to supporters of Bernie Sanders in a pair of tweets Sunday that suggest the Vermont senator handed Hillary Clinton the Democratic nomination when he refused to seize on the nagging issue of her private email server.

“Bernie Sanders gave Hillary the Dem nomination when he gave up on the e-mails. That issue has only gotten bigger!” Trump tweeted Sunday morning.
