FL man sentenced to prison for turtle egg poaching

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A South Florida man has been sentenced to two years in prison for poaching more than 300 sea turtle eggs.

Kenneth Cornelius Coleman of Riviera Beach pleaded guilty in March to one count of unlawfully transporting endangered sea turtle eggs. He faced up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he was sentenced Thursday.
