Tenleytown-Friendship library open for business

D.C. opened its fourth new library in the past two years on Monday. At two stories high, the Tenleytown-Friendship Public Library at 4450 Wisconsin Ave. NW is decked out with 40,000 books, 32 Mac computers, free Wi-Fi Internet, several meeting rooms, study rooms, and separate spaces for adults, teens and children. The place cost about $16 million and follows locations in Anacostia, Shaw and Northeast Washington. There will be a grand opening party on Saturday, Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lisa Gartner
