WASHINGTON (AP) — Metro says track work will cause delays over the weekend, with five stations on the orange line closed.

Metro says buses will replace trains on the orange line between Stadium-Armory and New Carrollton. The New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood and Minnesota Avenue stations will be closed. A free express bus will operate between New Carrollton and Stadium-Armory. A local bus will also travel to all closed stations. Passengers using the express bus service should expect to add 30 minutes to their travel times. Those using the local service can expect up to an hour.

On the blue line, buses will replace trains between Stadium-Armory and Benning Road, adding 20 minutes to travel times. On the red line, trains will single track in two portions, adding 10 minutes to travel times.
