RIVERDALE, Md. (AP) — A Prince George’s County apartment complex has been condemned, displacing about 200 residents.
County environmental officials said Thursday that the 65-unit complex in Riverdale has been condemned because of residual problems stemming from the recent storms.
The evacuations happened after emergency officials responded to the building Wednesday night after receiving a 911 call for a water leak.
A temporary shelter for the vacated residents has been set up at Bladensburg High School. The building will remain condemned until further notice.
