Orrin Hatch: It’s ‘ridiculous’ for John McCain to exclude Trump from funeral

Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, says he believes Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., should invite President Trump to his funeral, according to a new report.

The Utah Republican, who will not be seeking re-election in the 2018 midterm elections, said he thinks “it’s ridiculous” for McCain to not extend an invitation for his funeral to Trump, after it was reported over the weekend that McCain did not want Trump to attend. Even so, Hatch said McCain should have his “own wishes fulfilled.”
