BROOKEVILLE, Md. (AP) — Montgomery County Police say the body of a swimmer who went missing at the Triadelphia Reservoir in Brookville has been recovered.
Officers say the body of 19-year-old Avery Williams of Germantown was recovered about 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Police say on Wednesday afternoon, Williams had been swimming in the reservoir with friends when he began struggling, went under and did not resurface.
The incident is under investigation.
