ROANOKE, Va. (AP) — Police are investigating a body found in the Roanoke River near a Blue Ridge Parkway overlook.
The Roanoke County Police Department tells media outlets that the body of a man was found Sunday afternoon near the Roanoke River Overlook off the parkway. The body was sent to the medical examiner.
The site is near where authorities conducted a search last week for a missing Roanoke City man.
