Lawmaker says ‘undercover’ voters will save Trump

A Republican congressman said he thinks “undercover voters” will swing the election in Donald Trump’s favor, even though Trump is now trailing in most nationwide polls and is behind in most estimates of how Electoral College votes are stacking up.

“We’ve seen the race tighten the last couple of days, and that’s interesting since the Clinton campaign and some of the liberal media effectively called the race over just two or three days ago,” Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., said on CNN Thursday. “And I do still think the undercover voters, much like Brexit, will turn this election in Donald Trump’s way, but it is going to be close.”
