Second ICE detainee dies in custody this week

An Indian national has become the second Immigration and Customs Enforcement detainee this week to die after entering federal custody.

According to an ICE press release, Atulkumar Babubhai Patel, 58, died on Tuesday at an Atlanta hospital. The preliminary cause of death has been ruled a complication from congestive heart failure.
