Texan claimed bingo cash paid for assault rifles

BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) — A South Texas woman who says she used bingo winnings to buy five assault rifles has been convicted of lying on the purchase records.

Yadira Garcia of Alamo faces up to 30 years in federal prison during sentencing later this year in Brownsville.
