ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) — Arlington residents and visitors will have a new farmers’ market to enjoy.

The Arlington County Board voted Saturday to approve an open-air farmers’ market at the Fairlington Community Center. It will open next April and operate on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until November.

Arlington County Board Chair Jay Fisette says the farmers’ market will be the ninth in the county.

The market will host between 15 and 20 vendors offering fruits and vegetables, baked goods and other products from producers located no more than 125 miles from Arlington County.
