One of Hollywood‘s famous couples, Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, launched a fundraiser Thursday to raise money for Kunis’s home country of Ukraine.

“The people of Ukraine are strong and brave, but being strong and brave doesn’t mean you’re not worthy of support,” Kunis, who was born in Chernivtsi, Ukraine, said in a video announcing the fundraiser supporting her home country’s resistance against Russian invasion.

“I have always considered myself an American, a proud American. I love everything that this country has done for myself and my family, but today, I have never been more proud to be a Ukrainian,” she continued while sitting next to her husband.

The effort is titled the Stand with Ukraine GoFundMe.

“We’re raising funds to support a relief effort that will have immediate impact and supply much-needed refugee and humanitarian aid to the area,” Kutcher said.

The celebrity couple has promised to match up to $3 million to Flexport.org and Airbnb.org through GoFundMe, and a total goal of $30 million has been set, the report noted.
