President Trump mocked former Vice President Joe Biden Monday for getting ahead of himself in a Saturday speech by saying he was running for president and then backtracking.
“Joe Biden got tongue tied over the weekend when he was unable to properly deliver a very simple line about his decision to run for President. Get used to it, another low I.Q. individual!” Trump tweeted Monday morning.

Biden, who is expected to announce he’s running for president in the coming weeks, slipped up in a speech in Delaware over the weekend when he said he was the most progressive “of anyone running for the United — anybody who would run.”
Trump has attacked Biden before in recent months. In January, Trump told Fox News’ host Jeanne Pirro that Biden is “weak” and he’s not worried about Biden challenging him. Privately, however, Trump has reportedly indicated he’s worried about potentially facing Biden in 2020.
