Bird count Saturday at national park in Marrero

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — The National Park Service is calling birders and experienced canoeists to the Barataria unit of the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve in Marrero. It’s holding its second winter bird count ever on Saturday.
