PHOENIX (AP) — Tonto National Forest officials say a rare Crested Saguaro cactus has been mutilated in a wilderness area northeast of Phoenix.
A permitted outfitter guide notified forest officials Thursday about the cactus, which had its renowned crested top cut off.
