D.C. on Tuesday kicked off its “potholepalooza” campaign — the annual spring rush to fill holes and cracks on roads that took a beating in winter.
District Department of Transportation crews have filled almost 19,000 potholes since the annual month-long campaign began in 2009, according to the agency.
Until May 15, DDOT promises to fill any pothole residents report within 48 hours of the initial complaint. Residents who want to report potholes can call 311, tweet at @DDOTDC, e-mail [email protected], go online at ddot.dc.gov, or use the District’s new 311 smartphone app.
