Fairfax County Supervisor and congressional hopeful Pat Herrity holds a healthy lead over his primary opponent, according to an internal campaign poll that shows many GOP voters undecided two months before they select a challenger to Rep. Gerry Connolly.
Among likely GOP voters in the June 8 primary, Herrity leads businessman Keith Fimian 42 percent to 21 percent — with 37 percent undecided — according to the survey from Republican polling firm the Tarrance Group. Herrity is also the better known of the two.
