MECHANICSVILLE, Va. (AP) — A joint funeral is scheduled for two sisters who died from injuries suffered when the car they were riding in went into the Chickahominy River.

Obituaries posted on Nelsen Funeral Home’s website say the funeral for 27-year-old Jessica Gallmeyer and 15-year-old Amanda Brooke Irby will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Hanover Church of Nazarene in Mechanicsville.
