D.C.’s famous cherry blossoms will have a shorter peak bloom period than predicted. Peak bloom is now expected to take place March 29 to April 1, and the complete blooming period will occur from March 26 to April 7, the National Park Service announced Wednesday. Peak bloom had been predicted to be from March 29 to April 3.
