Standardized test results show significant drops in Nevada student achievement, participation

Nevada students’ participation and achievement on standardized tests dropped significantly last year, according to results released on Thursday by the state Department of Education (NDE).

The results show 68.3% of students participated in the tests, while just 41.4% of students showed proficiency on both the English and math tests – a 7% drop from the 2018-2019 school year.
