Albert Haynesworth has been indicted on a misdemeanor sexual abuse charge for allegedly fondling a server at a D.C. lounge.
The 29-year-old Washington Redskins player is accused of sliding a credit card down a waitress’ dress and fondling her breast at P.O.V. Lounge, on the rooftop terrace of the W. Hotel, at about 2 a.m. on Feb. 13, the indictment says.
He faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
No date has been set for his arraignment.
The accusations first surfaced shortly after the incident in February. A D.C. Superior Court jury returned the indictment against Haynesworth on Tuesday.
