Public safety unions endorse Gray for mayor

The unions the representing 1,300 District employees who work in the District’s jail, youth services and protective services police have backed D.C. Council Chairman Vince Gray in his bid to be the city’s next mayor.

Endorsements have been rolling in for Gray as organization after organization has voiced concern that Mayor Adrian Fenty does not take a personal interest in their affairs.
