BALTIMORE (AP) — Domino Sugar is taking its iconic sign along Baltimore’s harbor solar.
Domino and its parent company ASR Group marked Earth Day on Tuesday by announcing that a new solar array installed at the refinery is expected to generate more energy than the sign uses. The 8,400-square-foot, red neon sign atop the refinery has lit up Baltimore’s night sky since 1951.
