LONDON (AP) — The Olympic torch is crossing Loch Ness, home of the legendary monster, as part of its cross-country trek which ends at London’s Olympic Park next month.
The torch is being ferried up the roughly 20-mile (32-kilometer) -long lake by boat from Fort Augustus in Scotland’s southwest to the village of Drumnadrochit in the central Highlands, before it comes to rest for the evening in the nearby city of Inverness.
