BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — Ownership of Silver Slipper Casino should change hands within the next 10 days.
The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/SHGnpo ) the Mississippi Gaming Commission on Thursday approved the suitability of Full House Resorts, its investors and executives, clearing the way for the $70 million sale of the casino in Hancock County.
Andre Hilliou, CEO and president, said the company looked at properties in Mississippi for three or four years before deciding to buy Silver Slipper.
The sale will include the brand and John Ferrucci will remain as general manager.
Ferrucci said customers will notice little change after the sale.
