NY gets $1.7 million in drug settlement

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — New York is getting $1.7 million as its share of a $35 million multi-state settlement with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer over the marketing of the drug Rapamune.

New York is among 42 states that sued Pfizer subsidiary Wyeth for improper marketing and promotion of the drug.
