ASUNCION, Paraguay (AP) — At least three people were dead and 13 were missing after a tourist boat capsized in the Paraguay River during a storm at the town of Carmelo Peralta in northern Paraguay, authorities said Wednesday night.
Aldo Saldivar, operations manager at the state National Emergency Secretariat, said the boat was carrying 11 Paraguayan crew members and 16 Brazilian tourists.
