Bobblehead museum capitalizes on fly landing on Mike Pence’s head at VP debate

A Wisconsin museum dedicated to bobblehead dolls announced it will manufacture a line of toy heads to commemorate a particularly pesky moment from Wednesday night’s vice presidential debate.

The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum rolled out a presale of its Mike Pence Fly Bobblehead on Thursday that will immortalize the viral moment when a fly landed and sat on Pence’s head for almost two minutes during his debate with Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris.

“The bobblehead includes the fly on Vice President Pence’s head, a plexiglass-like barrier, and a removable mini fly swatter,” reads a description of the item. “The bobblehead commemorates the viral moment from the 2020 Vice Presidential Debate.”

The museum is not the only organization capitalizing on the moment. Joe Biden’s campaign released a $10 “Truth over Flies” fly swatter, and representatives from the organization said it has already sold almost 35,000 of the memorabilia item.

The bobblehead is being offered by the museum through its website for $25.
