SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Gov. Jerry Brown has issued a second executive order to deal with California’s drought, taking additional steps to help fight wildfires and assist cities and farmers.

The order he issued Friday streamlines contracting rules for purchasing firefighting equipment and allows property owners to quickly clear brush and dying trees from their land.
