Temporary D.C. Council chairwoman Mary Cheh announced Wednesday night she would schedule a council session for 10 a.m. on Wednesday to vote in an interim chairman.

It was an end to a chaotic day at the Wilson Building in which news broke of Brown being charged with bank fraud, a media stakeout outside his office and a full D.C. Council meeting behind closed doors.
